The Stone Gate Inn's Policies

Check In/Out Time
Check in time is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you anticipate arriving after 8 p.m., please let us know ahead of time to make special arragements. We apologize for not being able to accommodate early check-ins.

Check out time is 11:00 a.m. If you wish to extend your stay, please notify the B&B manager by 9:00 p.m. the night before, and we will try to accommodate your needs. We may not be able to allow a later check out time, depending on activities happening at the B&B.

Deposit policies
To guarantee your reservation, a deposit of 50 percent is required . The balance due at check-in and  may be paid by cash, debit or credit card..

Methods of Payment
We honor the following methods of payment: Cash, Debit Cards, MasterCard, or Visa.

Price and terms are subject to change without notice (but will be honored after a reservation has been made).

Cancellations
Should you wish to cancel or change your reservation for any reason, we require at least 14 days advanced notice by email. We will refund your deposit, less a 10 percent service charge of your total reservation.

Cancellations made within the14-day period will be charged for the full amount of the reserved stay unless we are able to rebook the room. If we are able to rebook the room, we will refund the rebooked portion, less the 10 percent service charge.

We are a small Inn, and cancellations affect us dramatically. If you have any concerns about possibly having to cancel, we recommend inexpensive trip cancellation insurance. The Inn is in the Calgary Area with the Stampede, Spruce Meadows, and many more popular attractions. We project and count on high occupancy during these periods.

Pets
No pets allowed. We have a small dog and horses on the property for you to enjoy.

Due to fire insurance we require no burning of candles or incense in rooms

Lost House Keys
If house or room keys are lost ,there is a $200.00 charge plus tax to change the locks

Smoking Policy
For the comfort of our guests, the Stone Gate Inn B&B maintains a smoke-free environment. Guests who smoke in their rooms will be asked to check out immediately, and a $250.00 charge will be assessed to the credit card on file. The amount is to cover the cleaning charges incurred in rendering the room smoke-free for subsequent guests.

Damages
If any damages to The Stone Gate Inn property are the result of the guest, or any property is lost or stolen during the guest's visit, we reserve the right to place an additional charge to the credit card or will be billed for the damages.
